Polyimide Tubing

Polyimide tubing is manufactured by twisted polyimide film, then bonded with a unique glue that has chemical and characteristic resemblance to the polyimide film. Our polyimide tubing offers a unique combination of ductility, strength and stiffness to provide greater toughness and durability. It also has good electrical, physical insulating properties.

Polyimide possesses excellent mechanical and service properties at high temperatures. Its dielectric strength and dimensional stability at high temperatures make it suitable for F, H class applications and wide range applications at -269~260℃. And it has been molded into many different shapes such as films, tubes, rods, formed materials, coating materials, etc., and used as flexible printed substrates, heat-resistant electric wire insulating materials, magnetic tapes, and the like.

As polyimide is one of the organic polymer materials with the best comprehensive performance, our polyimide tubing can withstand temperatures as high as 350-380℃ in an instant, and with a long-term usage temperature from -269℃ to 260℃.  It has no obvious melting point, good insulating property, and its dielectric constant at 103Hz is 4.0, with dielectric loss of only 0.004~0.007.

At very high and very low temperatures, polyimide tubing is remarkably radiation-resistant and flexible. Polyimide film can be twisted into a product by mixing it with other plastics film, paper or other materials.

Our tubing has been widely used in many fields, such as aerospace, aviation, computer, electromagnetic wire, transformer, audio, mobile phone, smelting, mining, electronics components, automobile, transportation, atomic energy and other electronic appliances.

Packing and Storage

Storage: Keep in room temperature. Remove package before use. Unused parts are wrapped in original packaging to avoid moisture absorption. It is recommended to be used up in 6 months.
