Q-MANTIC ®  Polyimide Silicone Adhesive Tape is made of polyimide film as its base material, which is coated with the pressure-sensitive organic silicone adhesive. The adhesive tape shows excellent electrical properties and outstanding resistance to high temperature as well as cold endurance.

The tape has strong hydrogen bonds to the polar solvents. It can resist temperatures as high as 300℃, preparing the final product for high temperatures when applied. Its insulation and chemical resistance are good for motor, transformer and coil. It’s easy for die-cutting to any shape to meet customers’ requirements. It has good adhesion properties on different surfaces.

In the electronic and electrical industry, it can be used in the higher requirements of H-class motor and transformer coil insulation wrapping, high-temperature coil end wrapping fixed, temperature measurement RTD protection, capacitor and wire wrapping and other bonding insulation in high temperature working conditions. In the circuit board manufacturing industry, it can be used for electronic protection, especially suitable for SMT high-temperature resistant protection, electronic switches, PCB gold finger protection, electronic transformers, relays and other electronic components that need high temperature resistance and moisture protection. It has been widely applied as high-temperature surface reinforcement protection film, metal material high-temperature spray paint, spraying masking protection film. After high-temperature spray paint baking, it is easy to peel off without leaving residual adhesive. It possesses the advantages of high temperature resistance, high tensile strength, good chemical resistance, no residual glue and is in line with ROHS environmental protection and halogen-free, etc.
