PET heat shrink tubing (mylar tubing) is manufactured by twisted polyester film then adhesives by special glue. The glue possesses similar chemical characteristics to polyester film. It provides insulation, protection, stiffness, sealing, and strain reliefs for a variety of applications, without significantly adding to the profile of a device.
