Q-MANTIC ® Polyimide Anti-Static Polyimide Silicone Adhesive Tape is a high-performance silicone PSAs Tape with PI film.

Anti-static polyimide tape, also known as ESD KAPTON Tape, ESD PI Tape, ESD Polyimide Tape, is mainly used in the power industry. The tape is made of double-sided antistatic treated polyimide film as the substrate (antistatic treatment is carried out on one or both sides under plasma environment using proton bombardment technology, without adding any additives or pasting any substances, keeping the original properties of the film, and the adhesive force with the film is twice that of ordinary products). The tape is coated with imported high-performance silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side. Its back side surface resistance is less than 107 Ω, and the adhesive coated side surface resistance is less than 109Ω. The peel-off electrostatic voltage of the tape is less than 50V, ensuring that electronic parts products will not be damaged by the electrostatic voltage generated when the tape is separated. At the same time, it can be laminated release film, and after lamination, it has good shearing property and can easily be die-cutted.

Because of these excellent electrical properties, anti-static polyimide silicone adhesive tape has been widely used for high-temperature insulation winding in the electronics industry for transformers, motors, coils, capacitors and inverter power supplies.

■ When applying Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Film to any surface, be sure that the surface free from oil or other surface contaminates such as powder, dust or release agent.
■ Adhesive performance should be carefully checked when used on substrates containing plasticizers.
■ The term of validity is one year from manufacturing date when stored under the conditions of 23±2. ℃ and 60±10% R.H. in the original carton.
